Apex Tool Fabricators Inc. began in a 4,000 sq ft garage in Burlington, Ontario. Today we ship precision tooling to 42 countries.

In 1994, master toolmaker Robert Hale and two colleagues left a large automotive supplier with one idea: build tooling the way it should be built, with no shortcuts and total accountability. They started with a used Bridgeport mill and a single die contract.
Three decades later, we are still family-founded and employee-minded, with 85 team members, 64 machine tools and a customer list spanning aerospace primes, medical device leaders and global automotive groups.

First wire EDM and CMM brought in-house.
